Lähetimme Tansanialaisen työharjoittelijamme Tonyn tutustumaan Kuhankosken Killan Vuosinäyttelyyn Forssan kaupunginkirjastoon. Sieltä Tonyn matka jatkui Forssan Luontomuseoon, jossa hän pääsi ihailemaan maamme eläimiä.

MY VISIT TO FORSSA EXHIBITIONS

In the second floor at Forssa kirjasto I saw different kinds of paintings and I found it interesting because I think they express more about Finnish nature and how it looks in the countryside of Finland.

The picture above is the oil painting from Artist Unto Grönberg. That I found in the Forssa kirjasto exhibition and I chose this because I found it more interesting and it tells a lot about life in the countryside. After I saw this picture, first thing that came to my mind is the first time when I arrived in Finland. We had to drive all the way from Helsinki to Forssa and for me it looks a lot of farms and small villages that I saw on my way in the countryside is exactly how they look in this picture.

What I learned or think about the difference between Tanzania paintings and Finnish paintings is in colours. Tanzania´s artists draw more colorful picture and much brighter comparing to Finnish artists. I think the paintings here is little dark or more shades around.

My second visit was in Forssan Luontomuseo, where I saw different kinds of animals, birds and ants that you can find in Finland. They are so different with the animals that you can find if you visit to my home country in Tanzania. My favourite animal to see there was a reindeer with amazing horns that looks like a tree with some branches on it, and also to see a bear with big and strong legs, long nails.

It felt good to me and more interesting, because I used to see this kinds of animals only on tv and through internet. Although the animals that I saw there was dried, non-living animals or moving, but still it felt that I am somewhere in the zoo and watching those animals in real. This kind of exhibitions we don´t have in my home country. If you need to see the animals you should go to the national parks or to the animal zoo´s that we have.

Now after my visit to both exhibitions, it feels a little bit more that it helped me a lot to understand about Finnish nature and natural resources that you can find here. Which is totally different from where I come from. My special thanks goes to Kulttuuriyhdistys Kuvio in Forssa, where I do my job practice, because they asked me to go and pay a visit there. Before I didn´t know about those exhibitions.𑂽

Usva Keiju vieraili nimittäin viime marraskuun lopussa Kehräämön joulutapahtumassa, jossa hän johdatti lapset ihanalle mielikuvitusmatkalle keijujen maailmaan.

Nyt Usva Keiju saapuu uudestaan Forssaan.

Hän johdattaa lapset (4v. ja sitä vanhemmat) huimaan seikkailuun Keijuystävien seurassa.

Usva Keijun -tanssipaja on maksuton, eikä vaadi ennakkoilmoittautumista. Kesto noin 30 min.
